Today is Monday September 29th tomorrow will be one month since I quit smoking I have had no slip ups but it sure has been hard...Every now and then I want one so bad but I ignore the urge and fine myself something to do and the urge goes away.

I can breath so much better now that I have quit no more coughing and wheezing that is all gone almost from the moment I stopped! I feel clean and I also smell clean no more nasty cigarette smell . This is the most wonderful thing I could have done for my body.

I know I will never smoke again I feel way too good. Everyday I feel better and the urges are less and less.

Congratulations! Sounds like you have the right mindset for staying quit…

30 to 130 days is called No Man's Land (NML) and strong cravings can blindside you out of nowhere...be prepared not surprised...it is normal and will pass! Read up on it on Dale's page and Sarah's Wed Weekly NML blogs...

30 days?  A Whole Month?

Joy has given you excellent advice above.  Do yourself (and your quit) a favor and read up on NML (2-4 months after you quit).   An intense crave can hit you out of the blue.  As long as you are ready for it, you can use the distraction tools that worked for you early in your quit, and it will have no power over you.

CONGRATS... One month ... something to be proud of... now take that money you saved and reward yourself... YOU DESERVE IT

Great job, Racine!  You should be very proud of yourself!  As Teddy and Nancy have said above; take the time to read up on what No Man's Land is and how you may be affected during the next 100 days of your Quit.  You are doing SO wonderfully and it would be a terrible shame for you to give up that great Quit just because you weren't prepared for the type of cravings that can come out of the blue during No Man's Land days.

So celebrate 30 days because that is no small accomplishment!  And continue to stay vigilant as you march through NML!

Congratulations!!
