It's already 10:45 AM and I've only smoked 3 cigarettes......reading all of your carefully thought out responses
has encouraged me to try even harder. I'm trying not to smoke more than 1 per hour which should lead me down the garden path of less than 1 pack a day.
I have found a friend on facebook who lost his wife to smoking and he is begging me to stop right away.
All of these conversations and comments are very real and painful and they also take my time away from smoking. Even there are times when I am smoking that I don't like it now.
Returning to my left hand smoking when I am a righty is a big help. As an artist, when I draw, an hour could go by when I don't even think about smoking.....but then I smoke as a reward when I've created somthing good.
How do you get this "reward mentality" out of your system??? For instance, if I haven't smoked for an hour...I reward myself with a cigarette.
