Our relationship started over 10 years ago when I decided to quit smoking three packs a day. You were my comfort zone but you quickly became my everything. I depend and rely on you to get me through my ups and downs and though I've tried letting you go many times, I quickly run back to you the moment something goes wrong.
Today I say no more. I want a mind free of my addiction. I want to have a clear mind, free of the addictive power you have held over me and freedom to just be on my own dealing with what I may face. I now decide to rely on my Lord and Savior with some help from this community and plan.
Will it be easy? Of course not but there is no need to have a crutch anymore. I am taking back control from you!
