This is an update about my best friend I quit with nearly seven years ago

She quit for almost 5 years.

A couple years ago, she moved in with an old friend and smoker in a roommate situation.

First night she was there her friend offered her a glass of wine and then the traditional cigarette with the wine as they had always done.

My friend became hooked again. Her friend had her leg amputated at the knee because her circulation had slowed so much from smoking and the sores on her feet could not heal because of it.

She lived someplace else for over four months recovering and hasn't smoked since her leg was amputated

My friend has smoked for these past two years and told me today she has severe COPD.

We couldn't even carry on a conversation without her constant coughing.

Take the COPD test. Get a plastic drinking straw and take all your air and expel all your air through that straw.for three minutes and you'll feel exactly what COPD feels like.

Is that where you're headed?

Could be. Could be.

Stop now and don't go back!
