Hello Ex Friends,

I haven’t been active here for quite a while and missed celebrating my 2-year quit date with you last month.

All is well and I’m happy to report that I’m still cancer free as of my third quarterly set of scans!

Best of all, cigarettes no longer enter my mind. Life is infinitely better without them.

Happy Saturday!

About the Author
Raised in Chicago, IL. Lived in Fort Worth, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Lake Chapala area of Mexico (yes, THAT Mexico) and now back in the States for something completely different in Northwest Arkansas. Have basically smoked forever and HATED that I was one of the last stalwarts among family and friends. Turning 60 later this year and I just didn't want to hit that milestone with a pack of cigarettes in sight. Also, my partner has just finished 3 months of chemo after having his left lung removed 4 months ago. He's doing well, but seeing what he went through, along with talking to other patients in the infusion room, made me realize that I do NOT want to go down that path if it can be avoided. And, the best chance I have of avoiding it is to simply quit. So, here I am!
