Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm still smoking. Some days I smoke only a half a pack and other days I smoke a whole pack. It’s getting harder and harder to say no when I get the urge to smoke.
I have been practicing a mindfulness technique that requires us to simply ‘watch’ the urge, but don’t act upon it. It’s easy to watch the urge to smoke and it does go away quickly. Hmmmm. I may keep trying this mindfulness technique.
A couple days ago I went all morning and afternoon without smoking. When 5 pm arrived I went to the store and bought a pack that lasted two days. I'm trying to change my life and a big part of that is to give up cigarrets.
