I smoked a cigarette today. I saw them in my friends shirt pocket and asked if I could have one. Today is my quit day. I made it til 5pm. I’m still committed to quitting today.

Hi everyone. Glad to be here. This support group makes a big difference. I'm 3 days quit as I write this. I quit successfully using this community for a few months last year. When my partner and I split up, I started smoking again. That was last August. So here I am, back. Some recent encouragement I got was from a John Waters Instagram post. He said if he could write a letter to his younger self, it would say "John, quit smoking and do everything else exactly the same."
