Smoke free one month today

That's right. Haven't had one cig in a month. If you still smoke, one day you can make this proclamation, too. It's not the same for everybody. I did lots of research, planning, and talked to my doctor. Had lots of support. Had back up plans for all my triggers. But overall it was easier than I thought. First night-insomnia. Lots of cranky days and a few days of headaches, especially after switching to a lower patch. Lots of napping days. But here I am. Still alive. Actually feeling better than ever. Initially gained two or three pounds, but now I'm a pound or two skinnier than I was before. My biggest tip is to stay busy, eat healthy, and exercise when you can. That's what worked for me. Now what will work for you?
