Hello
I am going to try my best to EXplain what is going on with our Sharon. Her thumb is not out of trouble yet, they are keeping a close watch on it, so there is still the possibility that she may lose it. They did another surgery this morning because she still had 2 blood clots, they were able to get rid of most of one of them. They have backed off the pain medication and have given her some sort of nerve block (by injection) to help with pain and to dissipate the rest of the one blood clot and get rid of the other one as well. Well, it has taken all of the feelings out of her hand and she is smacking herself in the head. I told her to stop doing that, she doesn't need a concussion on top of everything else! We laughed, I love Sharon's sense of humor, it has come in handy during this mess! Sharon has way more patience than I do. I ask her if the nerve block was helping with the pain and she winced and said she is waiting to see. I can tell when I talk with her that she is really hurting. (Hey, Sharon, I hope I got this stuff straight! I'm sure you'll let me know if I didn't! hahaha!)
Thanks for all the prayers thus far and please let's continue to pray and send positive thoughts for Sharon!
I had to call her back to make sure I had all the facts were straight, that is when I found out about this morning's surgery. It's sorta like playing 20 questions with her. haha! I am truly not complaining as she is walking beside me in my quit mess (as you all are). What a team! 'eh?
