Sad Day

My older brother passed away yesterday after seven months of hospital stays, rehab, and finally a nursing home.

We got the call yesterday to come to the hospital now.   My sister and I spent the day with him until he passed.

I don't think smoking was an option, but my sister wanted me to go out with her to smoke. I could have used the break, but didn't want to take the chance.  I've done a lot of smoking at that hospital over the years while being there for various family members.  It's one those events that's been associated with smoking for me  too many times in my life.
