I spent the weekend on a tour bus, my 91 year old mother and her 92 year old sister wanted to go on a trip with a senior tour group but wanted me along with them to help them get around and on and off the bus.
I rode for hours with 53 retired elderly folks and I was the baby of the bunch at age 54. I was glad that I was able to go because the trip meant alot to my mom and aunt.
That said it was a trial in patience and I will say this.....these folks knew how to express their feelings about everything. It reminded me of the field trips I went on with my children in elemetry school!!
Not one time did I want to smoke, but I thought about how wonderful it was to not HAVE to worry about when I was going to smoke or HOW I was going to sneak around all these very verbal elders and get my fix.
Another milestone made!!!
600 days tomorrow smokefree and always one puff away from my pack a day addiction
Life is short....DONT smoke it up!!
Thanks ex-ers for being here
