Polepenhollow, quitting smoking

I waited until I went on vacation. A new routine for a few weeks with different stimulus. I stayed away from my old triggers. My work, relaxing in the recliner, having a beer with friends or working in the shop.

It was easier than I expected. I have beeen smoke free for 403 days now, and I feel great.

For me the odor of smokers is quite noticeable now

So you've been smoke free for well over a year and just joined this quit site?  Interesting.  We always welcome new members who have quit wisdom to share.  So, is that why you're here?  to help others on their journeys?  Or are you in need of assistance yourself?

Hi Everyone

I am now at day 466 of quitting. I still have the rare occasional urge to smoke. It is easily resisted with the thought that there has been sucess so far.

I do take the number of days I have quit and multiply it by the amount of money I would have spent if I were a daily smoker.

I buy an occasional book or tool for my shop as an ongoing treat and perk of quitting.
