Out of the Mouths of Babes

My husband and our boy just left to go "pumpkin huntin" as my son puts it. I was not allowed to go, because I might "puke up on a pumpkin," he told me (he's 3). I guess I can't blame him, since he had a 1st row seat to my first sick-up this pregnancy this morning when I was trying to strip the sheets from his bed.  I guess I should just feel grateful that I haven't been banned from our evenning Halloween walk. After dinner, we walk the neighborhood to see who's put up new decorations. A lot of people go really all out, and its fun. Anyway, when they were headed out the door, my husband (busting my beans) agreed with Nathan, saying that I couldn't be trusted on the pumpkin hunt but that should still let me go on the walk with them. My boy seriously agreed and added, "At least she doesn't smell anymore. You still smell, Daddy."
