May I take a minute of your time to veer off topic for a moment and ask a question on gardening. I usually plant my annuals in pots and then, when first frost hits they are done, clean out pots, put away and wait for next Spring.
However, this year I planted some annuals in flower beds at the edge of my porch. The flowers are all gone now and only green sticks are left....soon to be brown. Do I just leave these in the ground? OR....shall I dig them up? Cut them down? What do you do?
Thanks for any advice!
