Hello, as I promised 13 years ago I would come back every year on my anniversary and say, Yes I am still smoke-free.  It was this site and the many friends that I made that helped me to continue with my quit.  For that I say thanks to all.  All of you newbies, I know this journey can seem hard, but it can be done.  I've done it and so many more on this site is continuing the smoke-free lifestyle. I live with a smoker who after all these years does not believe I will continue to be a non-smoker. LOL  He cannot smoke in the house or my car.  No, the smell of smoke does not bother me.  I can't turn back because quitting was to hard to do  Newbies, hang tight and take one day at a time.  Before you know it you will have 1 year smoke-free and 2 years and so on.  I celebrate your determination to make this lifetime commitment.  So, until next year I look forward to stopping by the place that gave me hope.  Love to each and everyone.                         Carenda Mitchell Parker
