Through reading and videos I have seen on quitting, use of an aid can double a person's chances of quitting. In past attempts to quit I did not use any type of aid. I am debating on using one this time seeing as how my last attempts to quit without one have failed. I have spoken to my doctor about the use of an aid in the past. He didn't seem to like the idea of chantix for me and kind of suggested to cold turkey it so to speak. I was wondering what aids others might have used and how it worked for them. My fear is becoming dependent on it. What say you?
