Hello my name is Abby. I am 54. I am getting ready to quit smoking for many reasons. I have been smoking since I was about 12 years old. I quit in 2010 with the help of Chantix but only quit for a little over a month. i started hanging around with a smoker and pretty soon i asked for a drag of her cigarette, then a whole cigarette, pretty soon I bought my own pack and thought I could spread out the pack but became a heavier smoker than before. I have had Astmha since age 17 but a year ago diagnosed with COPD. Im scared to quit but i really need to . My husband is also quitting.. I got my Chantix ready, I need to do this, so im building up my support system and all that good stuff. So here we go.. I may need to reach out for your help.. Great to find this site..
