It's been 2 weeks...

It's. been 2 weeks today that I stopped smoking. My original stop smoking day was supposed to be April 20, but on that day, I was down to my last cigarette and didn't want to go out to purchase more. Instead, I found the strength and inner courage to quit.

This is not the first time I've quit. Prior to this time, I have stopped for 15 years. But over the last two years, I have gone through major changes in my life. I became an empty nester, sold my home of 19 years, moved, unexpected death of a sister, COVID, purchased a home, and moved again, this time away from a city I've live for 41 years.

Now that things have settled down a bit, it was time to quit. Besides, it was taking a toll on my body. I am happy to have 2 weeks under my belt .  I'm not out of the woods yet, but will forge on by taking it one day at a time and sometimes moment to moment.

I have this program to thank and the support I been given. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
