Today's blog is in honor of a dear friend who passed away in January of this year. Life overwhelmed him and he let go of it, and I miss him every day. He never smoked, never wanted to, and always asked me to quit. He died before he could see me finally put the pack down and walk away. I miss you, friend, and wish every day that you were still here. Whenever I am having an especially hard time, I think of how proud of me you would be for getting this far, and I keep going. You were always a great source of comfort and advice.
You're my angel. I just wish you were still here, to be my physical support. But I am inspired by your strength and character, and hope that I can fill the world with as much happiness as you did.
