I kept firing myself but always let them hire me back...I liked having NO benefits apparently. xo

44+ years, I did take extended sick leave for about 5 months in 2007, had some sort of bronchial infection that lasted forever...funny thing, as soon as I felt better, I couldn't wait to get back to work!

Strange thing, I seem to have more $$$ since I retired!

Over 35 years I dedicated my life to this career and it cost me so much more than I benefitted from it. So glad I've retired from the worst job in the world.

Can you imagine actually taking a job working for the industry? I could not live with myself.

43 years here.  3 month sabbatical in 2010.  Retired 7/4/2013 (a true Independence Day for me).
