As many of you know I lost my job back on 01/11.
Finding another one is proving difficult, although yesterday I was told by the interviewer that he was going to hire me, and that all I had to do was wait for HR to call me to take a drug test and fill out my paperwork. Great!!! or is it?
Today, I waited until 2pm, I had received no call, so I contacted them. HR knew absolutely nothing about it,so they said they would call me back tomorrow. Geez, even if they do, do I want to work for a boss who doesn't keep his word?
On the bright side, he did mention in the interview that they had an area outside for smokers for break time, and it felt great to tell him, "I don't smoke." He also mentioned that they offer discounts on health insurance for non-smokers.
So if they call back do I take the job? I dunno, I'm not keen on working for someone who is dishonest, but if nothing else I got some positive reinforcement for quitting smoking. Tomorrow will be day number 100.
