While I myself am a humanist and nonbeliever, I wish all of you a day filled with peace, grace, love, serenity, good food, good friends and family, and laughter. We've all come so far in beating our addictions, and it's so wonderful to celebrate a holiday without our nicodemons sitting at the table! For those of you brand new in your quits, be kind to yourselves and know that you can get through this. A month ago I would have told you I could never quit, I was too addicted, I "needed" cigarettes too badly - my nicodemon would have made me tell you that.
Today I'm 12 days clean, I've saved over $125, I've not smoked over 300 cigarettes, and I've saved over 26 hours of my life. New quitters, you'll be saying the same thing soon!
