Folks, I am here for a "not-so-happy" blog this morning. My partner, Rachelle, had a follow-up angiogram this morning after suffering a dissected atery two weeks ago, which led to a stroke and almost stole her life. The doctors had noticed two more dissections in another artery last week when we rushed her BACK to the hospital because she was complaining of stroke symptoms. Anyway, they kept her for 2 days last week and sent her home to wait and hope that the new dissections would heal on their own. This morning's angiogram was to determine whether or not another surgery would be needed. We were hopeful, but unfortunately the doctors said that blood flow is not normal in that artery and it is getting sicker. Therefore, as I write this blog, my partner--my soulmate lay in surgery. I ask once again, for your prayers.
