A quick note to let you know that I'm back, doing this thing! I had pneumonia twice last year. I went back to the medcheck last October thinking I had pneumonia again. The doctor on call told me I did not have pneumonia but there was something on my x-ray and I should see my PCP. I called my doctor, took the earliest appointment which was a week away, got an order for a CT scan which took another 2 weeks. Thankfully the results were ready over the weekend and I did not have cancer but I went over 3 horrible weeks wondering if did.... I had already gotten a prescription for Chantix and started that on November 2nd. I set my quit day for November 13th and haven't had a cigarette since. Turns out I'd rather live than smoke!
