There were times when the company I worked for nearly 18 years, offered us very nice parties, at nice resorts, evening attire, and valet parking....
But those days are gone, for several years now we had some food catered in the office, and that was it, or nothing at all.
Yesterday was a step up for prior years, we had it as a Happy Hour at a nice hotel, but for just about 3h, starting at 4:30 after work.
Everybody liked the hat, including the lady at the reception area of the hotel! On my way out from the party I gave it to her, she could not believe it, but it's Christmas after all, isn't it, the season of giving ? She was so happy, she gave me a big bear hug, and blessed me, and that made me feel really good.
