Do you smoke? NO!

Hi all,

Just wanted to check in briefly to say a huge thank you to everyone who replied to my last blog post. I appreciate each and every one of you taking the time to help me, it's really making all the difference to my quit.

I also wanted to share some exciting news (well I think it's exciting). I went to the dentist yesterday (and no, that's not the exciting news lol) to have my teeth cleaned as a reward for quitting since I can now afford to spend the money on things like this, and also as an incentive to stay stopped. Anyway, I had to fill out a form since I'd never been to this particular dentist before and when I got to the 'Are you a smoker?' section I actually broke out into a big grin as I ticked 'NO'! This is the first time I have experienced this since my quit and I have to say that, along with reading the comments on here it was the highlight of my day! That may sound sad to some, but I still count it as a win and a good day.

I hope everyone has a fantastic smoke free day! NOPE 😃

NOPE (pun intended!) - EVERYBODY gets a kick out of checking that "no" box - because for so long we felt like losers when we had to check "yes!"

You aren't a loser anymore - and neither am I!  Cool, huh?

Hey right on, that is good news and it's definitely worth a big grin because you are doing super fantastic and having the extra cash is worth a huge smile as well to be able to get your teeth cleaned or eat out at a restaurant or whatever is fantastic.

It's a mental victory. Keep them coming.

Congrads to you! You seem very motivated and strong. I know you can get through all this and come out "smiling"

Congrats on checking the "no"box and getting your teeth cleaned. What a nice experience to do that and leave with fresh teeth and not immediately grab a cig.
