Day 63: Still in it to win it!

Hello all of my fellow ex-smokers! It has been 63 days since I smoked a cigarette and I do not know how I have made it this far, but I am sure glad I did. Stress just keeps building in my life, but I will not turn to smoking ever again.

My fiance is still smoking. I am not pressuring him to quit, but I am sure wish he would.

I learned in one of my nursing classes that take the amount of years that you have smoked and that is how many years it will take for your body to be like you have never smoked a cigarette. So I smoked for about 7 years, so it will take 7 years for my body to "heal itself" (I am 23 years old, so by the time I am 30 years old). Obviously the earlier you start the better. Even if you have smoked for a long time or are older than 23 years old, it is still beneficial to quit smoking!

I have a very addictive personality, so if I can do this, you can do this!

I miss you all!!
