Yesterday I had a slip and smoked one cig after the viewing of my 40 yr old cousin who passed from cancer. She left behind 2 children, her parents, and 3 brothers and sisters. It just triggered my feelings of being told I have 9-12 months if I choose no treatment for the brain tumors I was diagnosed with on Sunday, the day before my quit date. But I decided I had to continue my quest to become a non-smoker so I can enjoy whatever time I have left with my family & friends. So I am back at it today, reading, and heading outside to walk my puppy. I love the support from this group...it is amazing and VERY helpful! I am off to the Mayo clinic November 12 to see what options I have to fight this crazy disease of cancer. Grace and Peace--Rhonda
