51 days ago, I smoked my last cigarette and while I knew I was quitting, I really didnt think I could do it. This means that day 51 is kind of a surprise to me. Actually, I have never been one to stick with anything hard. I get bored and give up on most things. This being said, I have been working out, I have quit smoking, and I have lost another 2 lbs (puts the grand total of 17 lbs so far)
So now I am thinking, if I can do all that, what else can I do? One of my goals for the next year is to be able to run 5 miles on the eliptical in one shot. Right now, I can do a mile and if I increase that distance by .1 mile each week, then I can work my way up to it. The key here is that I can do anything I set my mind to!
