Hello out there.
My mind is playing tricks on me. Today I stepped on the scale and am a full ten pounds heavier than normal. This despite 3X per week aerobics, watching what I eat, and doing the water-and-hard-candies thing instead of snacking. I'll just have to work even harder to maintain my pre-quitting weight. Yep, I'll just have to work harder and be more careful about food for the rest of my newly-lengthened life. Yay.
Or I could go back to being a sickly, sped-up smoker and the pounds would melt off in a matter of one week, despite the occasional beer and cheeseburger. I know, see? I've quit quitting before.
But that's ok. I love my life as a non-smoker and I will fight for it. I will fight for it at the gym. Forever.
Sigh...
