Day 100 - Taking it one day at a time

Well I never thought I would be saying it has been 100 days since I smoked a cigeratte, but here I am saying it and I am so proud of myself.  Even with a smoker in the house with me I have not wanted to smoke.  Actually the smell of it is horrible so that is a plus.  I do notice that my sense of smell has come back and also my taste buds.  It seems like I am tasting the salt in foods more than I have ever.  I was having this problem with swelling in my right ankle and I told my husband that it is not happening as often and it may be because before I quit smoking my taste buds did not pick up the saltiness and I was adding salt to food.  I do not know if that is the reason but I tend to think it has something to do with it.

Did anyone else notice the taste of food is better? or you taste things in it that you did not before?

I have smoked for so long that I am not sure what food really taste like but I am going to find out.
