I have been smoking since about 16 or 17 and I am 32. I have tried to quit here and there, but was unsuccessful. I guess I really did not have anything that really motivated me. The other day I talked with a friend and a coworker and they are both ex smokers now. While I was in line to buy some cigarettes I noticed that there was a pack of Nicolette gum that was about the same price as a pack of cigarettes. I decided what the hell, I get a pack. So I bought a pack of cigarettes and a pack of gum. While I was still smoking what has been my last pack I kept thinking about the real reason why I bought the gum. While thinking about it my buddies who just quit smoking came into mind. I decided right then that this would be my last pack of cigarettes. Before I really did not have a good support group, when I tried to quit before, now I feel I can really do it and this group can really help me out. My last cigarette was on 11 Oct 2012 at 430ish pm.
