We made very good distance today. I can clearly see tents and people around them from where we are now.

I also can see a corral off to one side. The bedoins I have been dealing with did a very good job at what I asked them to do. The corral is full of camels and pack animals. I will be able to re-cross the desert of NML and lead another caravan to this side. The animals in this caravan can rest in the corral here till I return with the next group.

I found a clear area and pitched camp for the night. One of the camels kicked me in the chest today. I'm in pain right now, so will wrap my ribs and rest for tonight. I'm not sure what set him off to kick me, but that is the hazards of working with them I guess. Tomorrow is another day.

I put on a large pot and will make another stew for tonight. We have plenty of meat and roots. I found some grains I can use to thicken it. I think I will make a Date Pudding for tonight also. The deer and Gnu should love that.

It will probably be an early night so I can recover enough to continue tomorrow. I can see the goats nearing the lower part of the mountain.

One step, and then another, will get you to where you want to go.

Hugs and love to all.

Larry the Caravan Master

I'm almost sorry I'm at the top of the mountain.  Wish I'd been around to have you lead me to it.  But I sure am enjoying your journey.  It's a beautiful thing to see!

I was talking to one of your Beduoin friends who said you're path is true and straight and there is no doubt you will make the mountain top.

No Man's Land can be quite enlivening with a leader like you taking people through it.

Keep on Caravan Master.

I hate to tell you about this, but I must. Your blogs are so great! But...I'm reading a book about the Donner Party right now, and your blogs also kind of remind me of that story!!! But I bet you get a happier ending than those people!!

I love this photo....the white lines are the camels!

Camels can be awful! So can Winstons and Marlboros and Kools! I have been kicked in the chest buy a number of these! Keep an eye out for things that claim they are Lucky Strikes! Follow your guidepost and do not head for a Newport! The list goes on! Protect your chest at all times! Also stay alert for the nicodemon that slithers along in the shadows! His attack can be just as swift as a camels kick! And his bite can be fatal! Safe travels my friend!

About the Author
I am a male that underwent coronary artery bypass X3 (triple) on 10/22/13 at the age of 55. I was living on about 20-30% of one coronary artery and my left heart output was only 20% to 25%. I spent a week in the hospital after surgery and went home. Then had to go back a day later for another week because I had pneumonia. Finally a few days because of a slight arythmia. All told it has been about 2 1/2 weeks. I am past the cravings by now and only have the urges to contend with. I really don't suggest that anyone quits smoking using this technique though. I'll have to carry the scars from that day for the rest of my life. The large one down the center of my chest, and the ones from several "silent" infarctions. I came that close to the next world. Never again will I subject my body to that (at one point in my life I was smoking 5 packs of cigarillos a day). I now have to say N.O.P.E. (Not One Puff Ever) every day of my life. TheOldGoat-Joan, I miss you terribly my friend. Elder Lists Guilia's: (/blogs/Giulia-blog/2017/06/18/elders-list-ao-december-7-2016 ) or Smorgy's (Chronological Elder List)
