Today was my third day of school at age 58 and not smoking for 39 days. I had been a little nervous about trying to go back to school and I am working on a masters in accounting and not smoke too. I have been able to deal with my anxiety by walking daily and sometimes twice daily. Or more. I like to shoot baskets too at the rec center or where ever. I take about 5 different vitamins daily too for anxiety and I also am using nicorette gum. I see other people smoking sometimes and I feel pity I think for them since I used to be one of those people wishing I was doing what I am doing now: Not smoking. I am really grateful not to smoke.
