Share your quitting journey
It's now 10 days into the 7th month since I had my last cigarette, bringing me to my 223rd smoke-free day.
On this last leg of my forever quit, I have also "sworn off" all forms of nicotine so I am no longer on the patch or using nicotine gum. While I am very thankful for the "quick-start" these NRT's gave me earlier in my quit, I chose to avoid them this time around as it seemed I might have a better chance at smoke-free-success if I stayed totally away from the substance I am addicted to.
What this means is that for the first time in almost 65 years of my almost 80-year life, my body is fully free of nicotine. (Give that a moment to sink in!)
I am thankful to this site and for you folks who have given me needed support and direction since I came upon THE EX in the summer of 2019.
