200.... Actually 203 days of freedom

I just wanted to thank everyone for remembering me on my 200 days of freedom the other day. December is a very busy time of month so I haven't checked in in awhile. However I am still going strong as I deal with the seasonal stressors that I have read so much about. This is will be my first smoke free Christmas in more years than I can count. It feels good to not have to go outside in the cold to smoke and constantly worry my wife is going to smell it on me. All I have to do this year is finish my shopping and put a bike together for my youngest. Fun but not smoking times ahead.

I am on my one millionth attempt at quitting. I have smoked for well over 15 years. A few years ago I developed a few health problems that gave me some concern but not enough to quit. Finally, my wife gave me an ultimatum; her or the cigarettes. I finally got my head out of you know where on June 2, 2016 and have never looked back.
