My Life is so much better without cigarettes!  I can't imagine ever picking up smoking again. I smoked for 37 years!  I quit cold turkey, after several attempts with nicotine replacements.  This community was very helpful during the first year or so.  Lean into what helps....avoid triggers....and be kind to yourself while you're healing.

Glad you stopped in to share your success!  Good to see you, and hope you know that your story will give a boost to the newly quit.

Smoke free IS the way to be!

@Alice23 Congrats on your success and thanks for sharing your achievement.  I always enjoy when quitters know actually how long  their quit has been.  I believe that inspires all of us to keep our quits one day at a time.

@Alice23 Congratulations! I love reading these kinds of posts. I can imagine others who are newer (or brand new) to their journey are get a lot out of reading stories like yours.
