Sing to the tune of an Army cadence)
I quit, I quit, I really quit,
Cigarettes, cigarettes have got to go,
They ruled my life ’til I said no.
I’m done, I’m done, I’m really done,
Smok’n and chok’n just ain’t no fun.
1000 days, 1000 nights, I quit, I quit, I really quit.
Big tobacco is mad, so mad at me,
Where’s the money they got from me?
I’m done, I’m done, I’m really done,
I’m keep’n my money and I have won.
1000 days, 1000 nights, I quit, I quit, I really quit.
Never gonna smoke, it’s not for me
You just watch and you will see.
I’m done, I’m done, I’m really done.
You come near me and I will run.
Well - that's my attempt at a quit poem - 1000 days quit, I never thought I could do it. My daily routine and life now is so different. The very first thing I would do in the morning is go outside (rain or shine) and smoke a cigarette. Now, I take some vitamins, meditate by music and I'm ready for my day.
No longer do I spend 20 minutes of every day smoking a cigarette. No longer do I spend $11.00 a day on cigarettes and no longer am I controlled by big tobacco -
Still hate you cigarettes!!!!
1000 days, 1000 nights, I quit, I quit, I really quit
