10 weeks! Whoo hoo

Hello my fellow exers,

Ten weeks smoke free. Didn't get to post last week, I was celebrating my independence from cigarettes. I have one week of 21mg patches remaining, I guess it's time to step down to 14mg and start kicking that nicotine addiction. Technically I'm still addicted, just in another form, which is much better than smoking healthwise.

Still getting cravings but not as bad and as often. The worst is in the morning before the patch kicks in. It's amazing how much better my life has become since quitting. I don't rush through meals so I can go outside and have a cigarette. My lung capacity is getting better by the day. I have put on a few pounds but I'm blaming it on  the hernia I was recently diagnosed with LOL I'm sure after surgery I won't be eating much. (was just seen by Dr on Thursday, gotta schedule a CT scan and take it from there)

Ok, done ranting for this week. For anybody just starting, hang in there, it's not easy or we wouldn't be here.

Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement.

Rich 🚭✌️
