1 day late

I'm one day late to celebrate my 1 year free of being nicotine free. 366 days today. I am so proud of myself.

I want to thank this community for being there for me. For giving me the tools to do this and for holding me up when I was about to fall.

When I started this journey I wasn't sure I could make it a week, at that time I wasn't even thinking a year.

Thank you everyone.

@trish4801

I am SO glad you stopped by to celebrate with us - and so that I can give you the (virtual)  Golden Key you have earned for one year smober (statistics have shown that only about 6% of people who quit remain so after one year)!  It is a BIG DEAL!

CONGRATULATIONS!

Thank you Nancy. Since I first saw you post that to someone else back at the beginning of my quit this was a goal of mine to be part of the 6% club. To not have to go hang out outside alone because I needed a smoke. Life IS better without nicotine.

@trish4801   Congratulations Trish!   So glad you made it and have continued to put your health and wellbeing ahead of some worthless, useless addiction.  Continue enjoying your freedom.  I see you got the "key" and I know it was something that I wanted to attain, as well.   Very happy and proud for you.
