This sucks. 

Anyone reading this would have plenty to say about "embracing the quit," or "reinforce with positive thoughts. Don't deprive yourself, think of what you're getting by not smoking."

From my perspective today? That's complete junk. I'm breathing worse than when I smoked, (lungs healing supposedly), didn't have a cough then, don't have one now.

Supposed 2 minute craves last 24/7. I feel worse now than I did in day 1 and hearing that in "2 or 3 months" I'll feel better makes me want to yell at the top of my way-too-tight lungs and punch someone in the face.

Today there is nothing good about quitting. 100% sucks with no silver lining.

It is what it is - an expression I hate btw - and I won't smoke. I am not/can't be happy about it though.
