Let's Get Moving Part 3

Let's Get Moving Challenge - EX Community.   Any activity counts, as long as you get off your butt and get your heart pumping.  Who knows, maybe we'll lose a little weight or a couple of inches in the meantime.  I hope placing it in discussions this time will work better than a blog post where there were so many entries and becomes harder to locate.  Let's see if we can keep it on the board often and easy to find. 

I believe we got sidetracked when I suggested doing other challenges and those challenges were not conducive to everyone. My fault. Lesson learned.  So I am hoping we can get back to doing what "you" do instead of a specific routine.  Got it?.   In the previous post, there were a lot of comments to go through to come up with this list of who participated.  Hopefully, it will catch on again.  Of course, sometimes we got off topic which can happen.  This post really kept me motivated and we had a lot of fun while learning a lot from each other with over 2519 comments on the first blog and 1072 Let's Get Moving 2018 - EX Community  on second blog comments. So let's Get Moving Part 3!

Beautiful day here.  Morning back stretches.  Mowed for a couple of hours.  On and off and on and off to pick up sticks, raise the blade lower the blade...  That was a workout all by itself.  I was determined to do that AND go for a 5 mile bike ride.  Jumped on the bike and thought "what the heck, let's just do the 7 miles!"  Saw a nice Turkey Tom strutting his stuff.  Feeling pretty good at the moment!  Cheers everybody.

@Giulia ~ I am amazed at but worn out by reading of your very. very, very active day yesterday. I am so happy for you that you are able to do all that you do. I sense that you have probably led many years of a very active life and that is paying off for you! 😊

Today I experienced "true" exercise vicariously by reading of all that you guys have done. As for me, I walked the grocery stores and navigated the cellar stairs for laundry.

I am supposed to walk on the gorgeous woodland  trail today with a friend, but the jury is out whether I will be able to do that.  I have a metal, folding gardening bench that I use for weeding, and one side of the the d@mn thing folded and dropped me to the ground yesterday.  I am sure I locked it when I opened it, but something sure went awry.  Nothing broken, but some pretty sore muscles and a doozy of a bruise.  😬

It is a picture perfect Spring day, so I'm going to give it a try. 😏

I DID it....a mile and a half, beginning all uphill (but downhill on the way back 😁).  It was absolutely GLORIOUS.  Will post pics later!

I am a HAPPY CAMPER!  I needed that glen, fairy circles, May Apples,  Jack-in-the-Pulpits and good company.  AHHHHHHH!

Nice to see the photos in here today Nancy.  Looks like a good time in the forest and a great place to be!  See any fairies out and about or sleeping?

I did 38 mins with zLiz Dancer.  My knee told me to stop, so I listened and maybe try again tomorrow.  But I did something and I moved.  I have learned to listen to my body.  Think I will vacuum now and tidy up the place.  Hope you get outside today if you want.
