It's time to eat a banana and cook with some garlic today to celebrate the foods of the day. If you've quit smoking your taste buds have hopefully adjusted so you can enjoy both of these foods.
Have any favorite recipes that include banana or garlic? We'd love you to share in the comments below.
A lesser known holiday is Hanging out day. Started in 1995 Project Laundry List worked to promote reduction of carbon footprint and and saving money, people are encouraged to use a clothesline today and whenever possible.
Do you currently use a clothesline? Have any tips for others to help them switch to hanging their clothes up?
It's also North Dakota day. I've never been but have always been interested in visiting Badlands and the less populated areas of our country. I'm sure there are so many interesting and beautiful places to explore. By quitting tobacco you could enjoy a trip to North Dakota with extra money you save and enjoy all the outdoor opportunities the state provides.
Are you from North Dakota and have some travel tips? You can also tell us an interesting fact about the state that others might not know. Share them in the comments below.
