SkyGirl's Status Update on 08/04/2014

Get a good night's sleep, Vikki, if you can. After approximately 72 hours, most of the nicotine has left your bloodstream. It will take some time for your body to function like it did before nicotine. But after those first few days, the worst of the withdrawal symptoms should lessen considerably. If your tummy is bothering you, I'd go easy on the mints and anything else that stimulates acid production. There are so many other things you can use to distract your senses of taste and smell while having a craving. But we can talk about that after your stomach feels better. Just remember to treat yourself with loving care and kindness. It's okay to let Quitting take over your life for the first week or so. You'll have the rest of your (now longer) life to catch up on whatever you put off this week! xxxooo, Sky
