Do you make Guacanole?

As I'm a California boy and grew up 15 miles from the avocado capitol of the world, I can't remember a time I didn't eat avocados.

They were 20 for $1 at the roadside stands.

My Guac recipe is simple.

You halve the avocado, pull out the seed with your knife edge penetrating the seed,  then turning it slightly to release it. I then scoop out the flesh and mash with a fork using seasoning salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

I like it on taquitos.

How do you make yours?

Looks good Dale.  My guac recipe is basically the same as yours- I use garlic salt instead of regular salt and sometimes add some diced tomato if I have it.Really simple!  Well now I am craving Mexican food - my favorite! Enjoy!

I do and I use a package mix or make my own . There is one brand I like a lot so if it's in the store I'll buy that .

Love Quacamoli on triscuits .
