En el 2008 iniciamos una comunidad de apoyo en línea para personas que quieren dejar de usar tabaco. Por nuestra historia podrá ver que la mayoría de la información está en inglés. Así como muchos de los miembros de la Comunidad EX por muchos años han sobrellevado las dificultades para dejar de usar tabaco, nosotros también queremos que el idioma no sea una barrera para continuar ayudando a las personas en el camino para dejar usar tabaco.
Estamos muy felices de darles la bienvenida a nuestros nuevos amigos en la Comunidad EX. A pesar de que hemos podido traducir la mayoría de la información al español para usted, reconocemos que habrá elementos de la navegación que continuarán en inglés. Incluidos los mensajes más recientes de nuestros miembros. No queremos que pierda la oportunidad de beneficiarse del valor que tiene leer sobre la trayectoria que muchos han seguido para dejar de usar tabaco a lo largo de los años. Afortunadamente, Google Chrome incluye la aplicación de traducción de Google que le permite traducir contenido en su idioma de preferencia. Para leer el contenido en español y obtener los beneficios de la traducción de Google le recomendamos usar la página de la Comunidad EX en Google Chrome.
- Instale Google Chrome o cambie si ya lo tiene instalado.
- Elija su idioma en la sección de opciones de lenguaje de traducción de Google
- Establezca su idioma predeterminado en el perfil de usuario de EX y Guarde.
- Se dará cuenta que tiene que salir de su cuenta EX para que la página de Comunidad EX reconozca su idioma de preferencia.
- Cada vez que vea un contenido que esté en inglés y desee ver la traducción. Presione la tecla derecha y escoja Traducir a español.
Welcome to the EX Community!
We’ve proudly been an online support community for people wanting to free themselves from tobacco products since 2008. Because of this long history you’ll find most of the content over the years was created in English. Just like the members of EX have surpassed barriers to successfully quit over the years, we’re not going to a language barrier keep us from continuing to help people on their quit journey.
We’re excited to welcome new friends on the EX Community. While we were able to convert most of the EX Community to Spanish for those native Spanish speakers, there are some things we aren't able to yet, including most of the user-generated content. We don’t want them to miss out on the richness and value of all of the quit journeys that have been documented over the years here on EX. Fortunately Google Chrome integrates in Google Translate which is able to roughly translate content to your preferred language, English so that they can participate in Spanish. You can keep posting replies in English and they should be able to read your responses.
To benefit from Google Translate we recommend you use the EX Community with Google Chrome.
- Install Google Chrome or switch to it if it’s already installed.
- Check your language settings** for Google Translate.
- Set your default language* on EX your EX profile and Save.
- Please note you will need to logout of EX in order for the EX Community to recognize your language preference change.
- Visit the EX Community and participate in your preferred language.
- Any time you see content in Spanish that you want translated. Right click and then choose Translate to English
*It's already likely set to English so you won't likely need to make any adjustments.
**You may need to adjust your settings to automatically translate Spanish to English by default.
