Back from the International market, where I found a beauty, and have to brag about it: a foot stool for mom, made in rose wood, by hand, from China, it was just too perfect in my eyes to walk away from it; had to have it 🙂

...did not mean to have the side with the price on it (I negotiated it anyways), it just gave me the better angle for the pic.

Now, you guys specialists in woodwork, isn't it a beauty?

Hey Daniela. It's been really quiet around here today. That table is very cool. rosewood, eh? It's got a beautiful grain. Very nice.

Sorry to hear it's been quiet in here today. We drove all the way to town only to discover the putt-putt place (both indoor and outdoor) was packed. I don't do crowds, so we had to come back home with the promise we'll get there first thing tomorrow before it fills up.  Sometimes I wish I could better explain panic attacks and anxiety to a 7 year old. I'm just happy he was content to settle down with a movie and some popcorn..

I have an Asian market near me --- and I just LOVE to look at the dragon fruit.  No idea now to eat it, but I will bring some home from time to time and put  them in a basket on my table just to admire!

I bought it several times Nancy, saw what it looked like being featured on my "Chopped" show on the Food channel, it is not too sweet, not to sour, nice texture of the little black seeds (they look like puppy seeds on the ivory color flesh of the fruit), just different from any other fruit I know.  Beautiful!

I am thinking about looking for a movie to watch this afternoon too, but instead of popcorn, we might roast some peanuts, they will make the home smell better than the fried fish I made for lunch...

Don't you just HATE that leftover fish smell?  We had broiled salmon for dinner, and I am NOT looking forward to my first thing coffee run tomorrow with the odor overhanging......blech!

My daughter has problems with any kind of air fresheners - so guess I'm just stuck with it for tomorrow!
