every time i sneak a cigarette, i force myself to ride my bike to somewhere in the city to put one of these stickers up. it makes me do aerobic exercise, which the smoking doesn't help, and also makes me think twice about if i really want that smoke.

I PLEDGE to do my utmost and unwaveringly keep to the steps TO PREPARE for my QUIT DATE.

Friday’s Promise: Resilience

I will face rejection and failure with courage, awareness, and perseverance, making these experiences the platform for future acceptance and success.

I will NOT smoke today NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS! It has never helped me in my life and I Pledge to remain FREE FROM NICOTINE FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS!

 I make this even though I am tired and cranky because I woke up too early. No cigarette will give me back the sleep, or even lighten my mood. I'M GOING TO DRINK SOME TEA AND LET THIS MOMENT PASS. I am happy to be alive and here.
