If I've gotten your quit date wrong, be sure to update it and then go through the steps to sync it to the community.

Please check your Community Profile to see if you've indicated how many cigarettes on average you smoked per day. Then go to the My Quit Stats tab in your profile to see how many cigarettes you have avoided or put the mouse over your username and then click the little "ex" button in the lower left of the hovercard pop-up.

Hi Thanks Mark,

Today is my 4th day. I am feeling okay, trying to fill up the day with fun things, but I generally just feel like sitting around. Also I'm at work. I have a notebook but have not written anything. I feel good about myself for getting this far. I want to do this!!!!  Hopefully it will get easier. Good luck to the others.

Hi Mark...struggling, but trying, I am in the most devastating time of my life..my husband almost died, my world was crushed, cannot smoke around him period. and I am so glad someone is there.because I am trying to succeed in something that I have failed many times..I cant reach out to my family, some members dont believe I can do it...some do, it's a toss up but really I dont care ..and i feel lost.. like i said in a previous post i feel like i got hit in the face with a tidal wave and getting tossed around like an empty shell...

Thanks so much for your welcoming ! God knows I need it....I gotta do this !!

Hi Mark,

Yes, unfortunately being in the UK makes me an electronic exile from the US

and almost a real one from the EU too if some people get their way . Its

a crazy world right now

I'm loving my quit still after 3.5 years. It's going very strong and I

rarely look back these days but its lovely to be reminded of how long it's

been from this fab site.

Please send everyone my love, I miss seeing how people are getting on and

being able to share with all the newbies that they can get through this. A

cigarette free future is possible

Love to everyone xx

Welcome.   Always remember this is your quit; no one else's.  It's how you feel, not what someone else thinks.  Many of us have "had" to quit without the support of those around us. That's what we're here for.  I know what you're experiencing first hand and it's not easy.  Try to turn your thinking around from having to quit smoking but wanting to quit smoking, not only for your husband, but more importantly for you.  We've always believed smoking relieved our stress, but it is actually causing more.  It may be hard to see that now, but as time progresses you will see that it's true. In the meantime try do use some relaxing techniques like deep breathing, I watch meditation video's on YouTube, etc.
