Sorry, but I missed my 4 year anniversary for quitting smoking. Actually, I think it's a good thing! I no longer obsess about quitting. Anyway, as of October 1st, it's been four years smoke free for me. I, like you probably, thought I could never give up cigarettes.....but I did....a few trips to my doctor scared me into it.....plus it had become so socially embarrassing. But, I got some nicotine gum.....stayed close to this site.....stayed away from drinking.....and I was successful. It was not easy, but I did it. You can too. Good luck to you, and know that your efforts can be rewarded as mine were.By the way...the gum can be really addictive, but you can quit that too. I did after about six months.
